- Bromine tablets to disinfect water without odors and with a long-lasting effect.
- Slow-dissolving organic compound, based on bromine, to keep water clean and hygienically pure.
Properties:
- Appearance: Solid in tablets.
- Color: White.
- Useful bromine content: 53 – 65%.
- pH (1%): 4.0 ± 1.0.
- Solubility (250ºC): 0.15 g / 100 cm3 of water.
Features:
- It is an effective disinfectant against bacteria, algae and fungi, and its disinfectant power does not depend on the pH on a scale between 7 and 8.
- Its high power allows it to destroy all organic matter present in the water.
- The combination of bromine with organic amines results in compounds called bromamines (NHBr2) which, unlike chloramines (combination of chlorine with organic souls), do not reduce the disinfectant effectiveness of bromine.
- Bromines do not cause eye irritation or unpleasant odors. Therefore, it becomes an ideal product to especially treat water in spas and indoor swimming pools.
- A dosing system through a BROMINE TABLET DISPENSER provides the appropriate level of disinfectant, thus protecting bathers and preventing excessive consumption of the product.
Dosage and instructions for use:
- With the pH of the water adjusted between 7.2 and 7.6, fill the bromine tablet dispenser with product tablets, then adjust the dispenser to obtain the desired Residual Bromine level.
The recommended residual bromine values are as follows depending on the type of pool:
- Private pools: 1.0 - 3.0 ppm.
- Private spas: 2.0 - 4.0 ppm.
- Public Swimming Pools: 3.0 - 5.0 ppm.
- Public spas: 2.0 - 5.0 ppm.
This value will be easily measured with a bromine and pH analyzer kit.
